Assist in facilitating impact assessment efforts and in producing and reviewing estimates for client work requests.

Summary: As an Application Architect, you will provide functional and/or technical expertise to plan, analyze, define, and support the delivery of future functional and technical capabilities for an application or group of applications. You will assist in facilitating impact assessment efforts and in producing and reviewing estimates for client work requests. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing requirements, designing application architectures, and providing technical guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities: Must have Skills: - Architect and manage technical team to provide technical solutions for projects. Maintain the existing system, attend to new functionalities based on product requests. - Domain knowledge IPTV, Video Integration, Broadcast video, Cable TV standards, Headend. - Integration of different conditional access systems. - Solutions for blackouts, and fingerprinting. - Order PPV (pay-per-view), Impulse PPV (pay-per-view). - DVB guide (programming guide for Digital Video Broadcasting. - Audience analysis, recommendations. - Google Analytics & Google Assistant Integration. - MPEG2 transport technologies, DVB, DVBS2 technologies. - Video Broadcast traffic systems. - Video processing techniques (ex.: compression, encryption). - Solutions for Multiple languages and localization. - Content Metadata. - Development of native applications in new languages. - Experience in AWS cloud-based application or services: EC2, ELB, EBS, VPC, S3, IAM. - Serverless technologies: Lambda, ECS/Kubernetes/Docker. - Event Systems: Kafka/Kinesis. - Caching layer technologies: Redis/Memcached/Varnish. - Java 14+, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and Python. - Tools: JIRA, Confluence, GIT, GERRIT, Splunk. Good to have Skills: - PowerShell, Python, Bash, Ruby, Perl, etc.) experience. - REST / RESTful APIs. - SQL DB (Oracle 11g, MySQL, Postgres) and No-SQL DB (MongoDB, AWS Document DB, Neptune) databases. - Spring Boot, JavaScript AngularJS, jQuery etc. - Configuration management platforms (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible). Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Advanced Embedded System Engineering. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - 15 years full-time education is required.
