Job Purpose (Summary Of The Role)

We are seeking an experienced Apigee Developer with strong Java/Java EE skills to design, build, and manage scalable, secure APIs using RESTful and SOAP principles within a service-oriented architecture. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Apigee Edge or Apigee X, including API proxy development, policy configuration, traffic management, and API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API keys. The role also involves reviewing and validating Swagger specifications based on the OpenAPI standard to ensure compliance and publishing them to SwaggerHub for internal and external use. Proficiency in JavaScript, XML, and Oracle databases is essential, along with knowledge of CI/CD. Additionally, the candidate will manage and enhance Drupal-based Developer Portals, requiring expertise in Drupal theming, custom module development, and API documentation integration. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, the ability to work in cross-functional teams, and a self-motivated approach to continuous learning are key to success in this role.

Requirement Specifications

Knowledge & Technical Skills Required

• Experience in API Management Frameworks(Apigee Edge or Apigee X) including API proxy development, policy configuration, traffic management and API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API keys is must
• Experience in reviewing and validating Swagger specifications based on the OpenAPI standard to ensure compliance and publishing them to SwaggerHub for internal and external use is must
• Hands on experience with JavaScript, XML, and Oracle databases is essential along with knowledge of CI/CD
• Experience on Drupal-based Developer Portals is an additional advantage
• Experience in Java & J2EE - Optional
• Knowledge in Telecom domain (i.e EAI, OSS/BSS, SIEBEL, etc) Optional

Certification specifications if any

Educational Qualifications

Engineering in Telecom, Electronics, Computer Science or equivalent.
