AP Analyst- Contract Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Analyst to support day-to-day invoice processing, expense review, and month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with NetSuite and Navan and strong communication skills to manage vendor and internal queries effectively.

Candidates must be Chennai-based or willing to relocate.

This is a strictly 8-month contract role.

Hybrid with mandatory office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner using NetSuite, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies.
• Review and audit employee expense reports in Navan, resolving discrepancies and policy violations.
• Manage AP email inbox, respond to vendor and internal stakeholder queries, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support month-end close activities, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting related to accounts payable.
• Coordinate with internal teams (procurement, finance, and operations) to resolve invoice and payment issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all AP transactions.
• Assist with process improvements and automation initiatives within the AP function, as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance operations role.
• Hands-on experience with NetSuite for invoice processing.
• Experience reviewing expenses using Navan (or similar expense management tools).
• Strong understanding of AP processes, accounting fundamentals, and month-end close activities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets.
