Annotation Specialist

Job Summary:

Job Title: Image Annotation Specialist

Report to: Data Science Manager

You will be working with the Pune R&D team to help annotate urine sediments in microscopic images. This job is engineering field related and engineers/biomedical experts are preferred.

The person most qualified would be somebody who is good with technology and is a fast learner.

Responsibilities:

Please note that training will be provided for all the responsibilities below:

• Receive image data to be annotated from the Japan team, set up data management environment, and provided annotation software.
• Annotate or label the urine microscopic image data using tools provided on Windows/Linux OS
• Save the annotations in the proper format and link it up with the data management tools if any

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Diploma or Advanced Diploma in;
• Medical Laboratory Technology
• Clinical Pathology
• Comfortable with computers (Windows/Linux) and software tools
• Excellent communication
• Good at creating/working with PowerPoint presentations
• Willingness to work and get the job done
• Can work autonomously and is always looking to learn more

Preferred Experiences:

• B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT / MLT)
• B.Sc. Clinical Laboratory Technology (BCLT)
• have hands-on experience in: urine microscopy, blood smear analysis or other clinical pathology lab testing.
• Good for image annotation roles where strong microscopy skills are needed.
• Engineering experience
• Knowledge about software applications and tools
• Experience working for a tech company (internships included)
