Role Description

We are seeking a passionate Android Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore. You will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality Android applications, working closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver seamless and engaging mobile experiences. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications with clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and enhancements.
• Ensure app performance, responsiveness, and compatibility across various Android devices.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries into applications.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to ensure robust and bug-free code.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and learn from peers.
• Stay informed about Android development trends, tools, and best practices.
• Support the app development lifecycle, from development to release.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience : 1-3 years of professional experience in Android development using Java and/or Kotlin .
• Strong understanding of Android SDK , Android Studio , and Material Design guidelines.
• Experience with RESTful APIs , JSON , and basic integration of third-party SDKs or libraries.
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git .
• Basic understanding of architectural patterns like MVVM , MVC , or MVP .
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate technical concepts effectively.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to OTT platforms or video streaming protocols (e.g., HLS, DASH).
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack components (e.g., LiveData, ViewModel).
• Basic knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Espresso.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• A portfolio showcasing Android projects or contributions on GitHub.
