Creospan is hiring for Android Developer for one of our leading Global Banking & Wealth Management clients for Pune Location.

Location: Kharadi Pune (Hybrid)

Employment Type: 6 Months Contract (Extendable)

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with strong Java expertise to work on high-volume, secure financial applications including client portals and wealth management platforms. This is a 6-month contract opportunity, and we are specifically looking for candidates who are currently available or serving immediate notice and open to contract roles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-volume, low-latency, secure Android applications for financial systems
• Build scalable, cloud-native applications following 12-factor principles
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices
• Ensure performance optimization, security, and scalability in production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional agile teams for sprint planning and releases
• Contribute to platform modernization using cloud technologies and reusable services
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a strong problem-solving approach

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of strong development experience with Android & Java
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Experience with Azure Cloud (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
• Strong debugging, optimization, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Good to Have:

• Experience in Financial Services / Banking / Wealth Management domain
• Exposure to Kotlin
• Experience working on client-facing digital or mobile platforms
• Understanding of secure application development practices
