Job Description
Role Responsibilities -
As an Anaplan Model Builder, your focus will be developing and implementing Anaplan solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Bengaluru, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
Developing and Maintaining Anaplan Models:
• Develop Anaplan models for business processes (i.e. Forecasting and Budgeting, Revenue Planning, Long-Range Planning (LRP)/Strategic Planning, Workforce/Headcount Planning, Cost Allocation, CapEx etc.), model architecture, data schema, and calculation methods focusing on user experience.
• Maintain Anaplan models, adding new functionalities, improving (i.e. AI integration), and fix to ensure model accuracy and high user satisfaction.
• Improve model health by identifying and resolving technical debt.
• Ensure data processing workflows for Anaplan are accurate and efficient through monitoring and validation.
• Proactively apply Anaplan model building procedures and align with Nasdaq standards and the Anaplan Community
Technical Document and Collaboration:
• Create technical document outlining model building processes, deployment, and operating instructions.
• Partner with internal teams to develop data integration pipelines from source systems into Anaplan.
• Build and cultivate relationships with business model owners, customers, and end-users!
Agile Scrum Processes and User Involvement:
• Actively participate in scrum processes including user story refinement, backlog prioritization, and sprint ceremonies.
• Engage in user acceptance testing and assist in script creation and model deployment.
Training and Adoption Support:
• Deliver training and support to end-users to encourage Anaplan model adoption!
We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications)
- 3+ years of experience in Anaplan development, with a solid understanding of Anaplan's platform and functionality
- A Certified Professional Model Builder with shown experience in designing and implementing complex Anaplan models and workflows, together with deep technical skills in Anaplan, including data modelling, workflow design, and scripting
- A graduate degree or equivalent experience in finance, business, or engineering.
- Strong finance background with expertise in FP&A, planning, and forecasting, and technical skills in various cloud solutions (Anaplan, OneStream, WorkDay, TM1 etc.)

It would be great if you (Preferred Qualifications)
- Hands-on implementation experience with Optimizer , PlanIQ , Cloud works and ADO is an additional benefit.
- Natural knack to keep the Model accurate , optimized and secured while having a good understanding of the Anaplan Way and how typical Anaplan agile implementations are carried out.
- Proven track record of solving complex, quantitative problems with analytical precision.
- Experience in Agile and iterative software-focused methodologies
