Purpose:

As an Analytics Engineer, you design and deliver certified reports, dashboards, and semantic models that empower decision-making across the organization. Combining strong data modeling skills with expertise in Data-Warehousing and Business Intelligence technologies, you translate business requirements into high-quality analytical solutions, ensuring performance, usability, and adoption through best practices and collaboration.​

Main Responsibilities:

• Requirement Translation: Convert business requirements into semantic data models, dashboards, and reports.​
• Solution Development: Design and develop analytical solutions using our Data Lakehouse and Business Intelligence technologies, including self-service capabilities.​
• Standards Compliance: Adhere to modeling, UX, and design standards to ensure reusability and excellent user experience.​
• Optimization: Optimize solutions for performance, cost-efficiency, and maintainability.​
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to clarify requirements and drive adoption.​
• Quality Assurance: Support peer review processes and maintain high-quality documentation.​
• Deploy & Support: Deploy, monitor, and provide third-level support for analytical products.​

Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.  
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Analytics Engineering role​.
• 2+ years of experience in agile product team organizations​.
• Proven expertise with Business Intelligence technologies. Preferably Microsoft Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud​.
• Proven expertise with Lakehouse service providers. Preferably Databricks and SAP Datasphere​.
• Hands-on expertise with Analytical Asset semantic model design, visualization development, publication, administration and maintenance.​
• Solid understanding of security models incl. Row-Level-Security​.
• Good communication and experience in working with matrix organization is a plus.
