Job Description

Position: Deputy Manager/ Manager Analytical Procurement, SCM Department

Location: Hyderabad, India


Qualification & Experience:

  1. Graduate degree or Post graduate degree in Engineering, Chemistry or Pharmacy.
  2. Pharma or chemical Industry Experience - minimum 15 years of experience in QC /
  3. Lab / Analytical Procurement.
  4. Profile experience in procurement of Laboratory MRO / Revenue items like Chemicals,
  5. Solvents, Imp & Ref Stds, Columns, Spares, Microbiology consumables, Glassware.
  6. Experience in handling External testing activities, AMC contracts, Calibration service
  7. contracts.


Desired Skills:

  1. Hands on experience in working with SAP / ERP environment.
  2. Ability to handle 10 - 15 members team
  3. Good communication skills (both verbal & written)
  4. Good networking skills with both internal & external customers.
  5. Good negotiation skills.
  6. Experience in preparing MIS reports.
  7. Good organizational, planning & execution skills.


Key Job Responsibilities.

  1. Leading the team and monitoring them in day to day operations.
  2. Actively interact with user teams and understand their requirements.
  3. To ensure POs and deliveries are happening as per the defined time lines.
  4. Training the team to follow best practices in the job role.
  5. Visiting plants for understanding the user requirements and business priorities.
  6. Coordinating with user teams and suppliers, addressing the concerns.
  7. Conducting frequent reviews with team.
  8. ARC finalisations
  9. Vendor management
  10. MIS Reports
