Role Summary:

As an analyst, you willbe responsible forconducting transmission and grid planning studies across various Indian states and other countries. Additionally, you will lead initiatives focused on planning and integrating emerging clean energy technologies into distribution networks. The position will also have sole responsibility for research and development related to commercial grid applications.

Key Tasks & Accountability:

• Drive R&D initiatives related to commercial grid use cases and advanced grid technologies.
• Conduct transmission and grid planning studies for Indian states and other countries.
• Develop andmaintainpower system models for load flow, short-circuit, and stability studies.

Education and Experience:

Domainexpertiseand qualifications include, but are not limited to:

• BE/ME in the relevant field (Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Power Systems)
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience inR&Doftransmission and distributionuse casesinenergy sector.

Skills:

• Awareness of power systems modelling paradigms across both transmission and distributione.g. capacity expansion, production cost, hosting capacity, integrated volt/var control, stability assessment, dynamics, transient,balancedand multi-phase power flow, etc.
• Proficiencywith power systems engineering concepts across both transmission and distribution systems.
• Familiarity with various energy regulatory environments/jurisdictionsand their impacts on grid planning and operations
• Proficiencyon grid simulation software like PSSE, ETAP orGridlab-D

What you will do:

• Conduct comprehensivetransmission and grid planning studies for various Indian states and other countries.
• Analyzepower system performance , including load flow, short-circuit, and stability assessments.
• Develop and evaluatescenarios for renewable energy integration , including solar, wind, and hybrid systems, into existing grid infrastructure.
• Supportdistribution network planning to enable the integration of emerging clean energy technologies such as electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and distributed generation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders todesign andoptimizegrid expansion plans that enhance reliability, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Utilize advancedgrid simulation andmodelingtools (e.g., PSSE,PowerFactory, ETAP,DigSILENT) for system analysis and planning.
• Conductresearch and development (R&D) on commercial grid use cases and emerging technologies to support future-ready power systems.
• Preparetechnical reports, presentations, and planning documents for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated withnational and international grid codes, regulations, and best practices in transmission and distribution planning.
