Position: Analyst - Real Estate Private Equity

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Investment Team. This is a unique opportunity to play a foundational role in a growing real estate private equity platform. The role offers comprehensive exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from acquisitions and underwriting to fundraising, business planning, and strategy execution.

The ideal candidate is a sharp financial thinker with strong modeling skills, excellent presentation capabilities, and a dedication to high-performance output. You will work closely with senior team members on key strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Modeling & Investment Analysis: Develop sophisticated and dynamic Excel models to underwrite acquisitions, including sensitivity analyses, IRRs, and cash flow scenarios. Analyze commercial office and industrial/warehousing opportunities through rigorous underwriting and market due diligence.
• Fundraising & Business Planning: Prepare and manage quarterly GP-level business plans for fundraising and board presentations. Coordinate with legal teams on fund documentation like PPMs and term sheets.
• Due Diligence & Deal Execution: Lead and coordinate due diligence with consultants for legal, technical, tax, and commercial aspects. Assist in reviewing transaction documentation and managing closing processes.
• Strategic Reporting & Asset Monitoring: Support the creation of high-quality investment committee presentations and internal strategy memos. Maintain performance tracking dashboards and contribute to strategic decision-making post-acquisition.

Qualifications:

• Education: MBA (Finance), CA, or equivalent from a top-tier institution. A CFA designation or progress towards it is a plus.
• Experience: 34 years of experience in real estate investing, private equity, investment banking, or a related financial role.
• Skills:
• Advanced Excel skills with comfort in building and stress-testing complex capital structures.
• Strong PowerPoint and storytelling capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills to synthesize and articulate investment rationale clearly.
