Analyst – Environmental Permitting (CTE & CTO)

Location: Mumbai / Ahmedabad / Vadodara

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Qualification: MSc Environmental Science / Environmental Management (mandatory)

Role Overview

RSustain is looking for an experienced Environmental Permitting Analyst to manage statutory environmental approvals and regulatory compliance for industrial and infrastructure projects. The role involves hands-on coordination with regulatory authorities and preparation of environmental documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation, filing, and follow-up of Consent to Establish (CTE) and Consent to Operate (CTO) applications.
• Liaison with SPCBs, CPCB, and other regulatory authorities .
• Preparation and review of environmental compliance documents, including Form V, EC compliance reports, and consent renewals.
• Support environmental audits and inspections.
• Interpret and track changes in environmental regulations applicable to client projects.
• Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure timely approvals.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3 years of direct experience in environmental permitting (CTE/CTO).
• Strong understanding of Indian environmental laws and consent processes.
• Experience working with industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
• Good documentation and regulatory communication skills.
