Job Title: Assistant Manager Commercial Strategy & Ops

Reporting: Senior Vice President Commercial

Location: Corporate Office, Gurugram

Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager Commercial Strategy & Operations will play a key role in supporting the SVP Commercial across business strategies and Commercial day to day operational initiatives, encompassing Sales, Revenue, Distribution & Marketing. The position is designed for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can manage project follow-ups, analyze performance data, and ensure seamless coordination across multiple Commercial Heads and Non-Commercial stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Project Support

  • Support the SVP Commercial on ongoing projects and initiatives across Sales, Revenue, and Marketing.
  • Track project progress, follow up on deliverables, and prepare concise updates and dashboards for management reviews.
  • Coordinate with Focus Hotels on key performance areas and Commercial initiatives.

2. Revenue & Performance Analysis

  • Consolidate and analyze revenue, sales, and marketing data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Prepare performance reports, variance analyses, and forecasting support for commercial reviews.
  • Partner with the Revenue team on data-driven insights and business performance tracking.

3. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Serve as a central point of coordination between Sales, Revenue, Marketing, and Operations teams and work closely with all functional heads.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments to ensure smooth execution of commercial priorities.

4. Presentation & Decision Support

  • Develop management presentations, analytical decks, and reports for leadership meetings.
  • Provide summarised insights to support informed decision-making by the SVP Commercial.

5. Leadership Alignment

  • Act as a representative of the SVP Commercial for project follow-ups, status reviews, and cross-functional matters.
  • Maintain visibility on key commercial priorities and ensure timely communication and closure.


Candidate Profile:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate with 48 years of experience in Sales, Revenue Management, or Commercial Strategy, preferably within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation skills (advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Gurgaon.
