Job Summary

The Supply Planner is responsible for managing portfolio supply plans, ensuring optimal inventory levels, and maintaining smooth stock movements across warehouses. This role involves updating supply plans, coordinating with suppliers, resolving stock movement issues, and proactively identifying service level risks. The planner will work extensively with system data, supply chain teams, and key stakeholders to drive efficiency and inventory optimisation.

Job Description

Position: Analyst 2 - Supply Chain Planning

Experience: 2 years to 5 Years

Job Location: Chennai

Shift – 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage portfolio supply plans and update inventory targets to meet business needs.
  • Monitor inventory levels across the supply chain network, identifying potential service level issues before they impact customers.
  • Place orders for materials and ensure timely deliveries by coordinating with suppliers and updating internal systems accordingly.
  • Oversee warehouse stock movements and resolve stock-related issues.
  • Adhere to master data management (MDM) policies to ensure consistency, accuracy, and control in ongoing data maintenance.
  • Develop reports to analyse and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), providing insights to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage small performance improvement projects to increase availability and reduce excess inventory.
  • Support process standardisation to improve operational efficiency and speed to market.
  • Balance competing priorities through planned and ad-hoc requests.
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. Must be able to work nights and weekends, with a variable schedule and overtime as necessary.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective stakeholder management and collaboration.
  • Experience in purchase order (PO) management oversight.
  • Familiarity with planning systems such as Anaplan or other similar tools.
  • Proficiency in ERP tools, including SAP and ARIBA.
  • APICS or equivalent Supply Chain qualification.
