Job Description
Engineering Product Management RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead cross functional squad teams to define and design differentiated products and experiences across the customer cycle
- Define and iterate OKRs within mission driven team that support executive KPIs and priorities
- Write user stories using control-driven design principles with detailed acceptance criteria
- Groom user and technical stories with developers and validate that features meet expectations through product testing and user journeys
- Create and track success metrics to measure the effectiveness of product features and quantify business impact
- Prioritize a product backlog, using domain expertise, customer insights and market research to make informed trade-offs between new feature development, platform investment and optimizations
- Conduct market and user research to inform and refine proposals
- Build consensus with a broad team of internal cross-functional and external stakeholders, ensuring all viewpoints are accounted for and that solutions meet all necessary requirements
- Define feature development, build consensus among stakeholders and partner with engineers and designers to deliver high quality experiences
- Analyze quantitative and qualitative customer feedback to inform product strategy and pipeline development
- Research industry trends and features to develop and pitch recommendations for the product roadmap
- Define new features to be built, write user stories and acceptance criteria and groom stories with developers and designers
- Collaborate with other product managers and designers to ensure cohesiveness of the overall customer experience
- Interface with our customers to build delightful experiences
- Own and drive a digital product roadmap to meet business goals, achieve key performance indicators and provide a world-class customer experience
- Mentor and lead a team of product managers to build and execute on your product vision
- Continually look for improvements in working processes in order to maximize efficiency in constantly evolving environments
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ year(s) of project or product based experience with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent product management experience
- High emotional intelligence, with an innate ability to recognize and understand the emotions and needs of others
- Aptitude for logically breaking down complex problems and communicating solutions with clarity
- Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership of and accountability for initiatives
- Strong organizational skills, such as effectively managing evolving priorities and strict deadlines
- Preference to work in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment with heavy emphasis on teamwork, consensus and relationships
- Proficient in major product management applications (i.e. Jira, Confluence) and analytical tools (i.e. Snowflake SQL queries, Tableau data visualizations)
- Effective communicator who will present results highlighting the broader commercial and strategic impact
- Proven analytical skills and problem solving ability paired with meticulous attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Technical knowledge (including HTML/CSS/JS/SQL)
- Proficient in Sketch, Jira, Keynote or similar application
