Job Description
Job Purpose:
Manage the bidding and tendering process for large-scale Solar Projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring business growth.
Tender Management
- Oversee the end-to-end tender process, from opportunity identification to ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Preparing tenders and standardized tender templates and paperwork / Bid Synopsis.
- To gather tender information and references from a variety of sources, including online search engines, industry, and market intelligence data, and so on, to submit the tender.
- To ensure that tender submission due dates are strictly adhered to, including the checking, binding, and preparation of outgoing submissions;
- To ensure that tender submissions are standardized in format, on per bid guidelines and other factors and comply with the bidders tender requirements.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings to clarify requirements, gather information, and build relationships.
- Provide timely and accurate responses to bid queries from clients, clarifying requirements and ensuring compliance with bid specifications.
Bid Response Development:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive, compliant, and compelling bid responses that showcase our company's capabilities, expertise, and value proposition including Technical, commercial.
- Create tailored bid strategies that address needs of bidding qualifying requirements.
- Develop high-quality, compliant, and compelling bid responses that meet client requirements and showcase our company's capabilities.
- Continuously improve bid response development by incorporating lessons learned from previous bids, client feedback, and industry best practices.
Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research, analyze competitors, and stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to inform bidding strategies and improve win rates.
- Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes, technological advancements, and industry best practices to ensure bid responses are compliant and competitive.
- Engage with industry associations, networks, and events to stay informed about market developments and best practices.
- Conversant with Reverse Auction process & guidelines in Renewable Business.
Educational Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/E&E)
Relevant Experience
7+ Years of relevant experience in Tendering & Bidding
