About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Alumni Relations Intern (Six months) to spearhead efforts in reconnecting and engaging our alumni network while strengthening ties between alumni, current students, and NIIT as an institute. This is a unique opportunity to create a vibrant community leveraging social media platforms like Facebook and LinkedIn.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Social Media Engagement - Utilize Facebook and LinkedIn to reconnect with and engage the alumni network.
  • Develop and implement strategies for two-way communication to foster a sense of community.
  • Create engaging posts to encourage interactions and nostalgia among alumni.
  1. Database Revitalization - Analyze the existing alumni database and identify key segments for reactivation.
  • Reach out to inactive alumni using social media and other communication channels.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and updates.

Community Building

  • Facilitate initiatives that bridge the gap between alumni and current students to provide career insights and mentorship opportunities.
  • Collaborate with alumni to co-create content that highlights their success stories and their connection to NIIT.

4. Reporting & Feedback o Track engagement metrics and generate regular reports to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach efforts.

  • Collect feedback from alumni to continuously refine communication strategies.

Key Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelors degree.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, especially Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for community building and engagement.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design tools like Canva or other content creation platforms.
