Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gandhinagar for an Alumni Relations Manager. The successful candidate will oversee all alumni engagement efforts, including managing alumni programs and events, building and fostering relationships with alumni, developing networking opportunities, and maintaining robust communication channels. Responsibilities also include enhancing alumni volunteer engagement, gathering stakeholder feedback, and collaborating with internal teams to support strategic goals surrounding alumni affairs.


Qualifications

  • Experience in Alumni Relations and Alumni Affairs, with a proven ability to engage and connect with a diverse alumni community.
  • Strong Communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders.
  • Expertise in Event Planning and coordination, with the ability to manage alumni gatherings, reunions, and professional development events.
  • Proven capability in Volunteer Management, including recruiting, training, and retaining alumni volunteers to support institutional initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • A Bachelors degree in communications, public relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with higher education or nonprofit alumni services is an advantage.
  • 5-7+ years in Alumni Relations Management is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using alumni database management platforms and communication tools is a plus.
