Function Overview
The successful candidate will be working with the team responsible for PERES client reporting, use and deployment of platforms to achieve optimization in a controlled environment. The candidate will be expected to assist in develop a client reporting function across close ended structures, develop and deploy standardized & customized reporting, client data analytics, work with teams driving change and implement operational efficiencies in a controlled fashion through effective use of our technology stack
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with the global product team to come up with a standard client offering
- Work on developing client reporting solutions using crystal reporting and SSRS
- Work on developing client dash boarding solutions using Tableau.
- Liaise with third party technology provider, FIS, to ensure optimal use of technology
- Evaluate/document the existing reports and normalize the reports to remove redundancy
- Evaluate technology training needs of PERES staff and devise adequate training programs to ensure effective technology usage
- Assist in managing IT direct and indirect costs for PERES platforms
- Support Sales and Client Services for clients for pitches
- Enthusiasm & Influence: Drive and influence change within an Operations and Technology environment
- Organization & Planning: Track and monitor multiple deliverables and give clarity and direction to all stakeholders
- Controls: Ensure appropriate adherence to Risk and Control policy and put appropriate risk mitigation in place.
- Communication Skills: Adapt communication style according to audience and occasion while being clear and unambiguous in conveying the message. Ability to influence and manage stake holders is a key
- Proven verbal and written skills for updates as required to senior management including overall governance (milestone tracking and reporting, monthly and quarterly achievements) and call reports
Required Qualifications and Characteristics:
- B Tech/MCA/ BCOM degree and equivalent experience
- Deep techno-functional expertise of FIS Investran & DX
- Crystal, SSRS, Tableau and VBA skills
- Exposure to Private Equity Reporting
- Ability to converse with fund accountants to gather their requirements and the competence to convert the requirements into a reporting solution
- Strong financial and analytical skill set
- Self-starter with a proven track record in private equity fund administration
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage many tasks at once in a structured manner
- An ability to work in teams distributed across the globe and travel to onshore offices
- Specific experience supporting fund administration
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact at all levels (both internal and client)
- Self-motivated, quick learner, comfortable with responsibility
- Strong at building relationships across teams
- Proven good judgment, particularly with prioritizing your own workload – including managing multiple deliveries simultaneously
- Ability to multi-task, dynamically prioritize workloads
The role is based in Bangalore but will involve interaction with J.P. Morgan teams across the globe
