Alliance Manager/Director - Cloud Ecosystem (India)

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and strengthen partner relationships: Build and manage collaborative partnerships with major cloud providers (GCP) across regional teams in India.
  • Joint go-to-market strategies: Collaborate with cloud partners to develop and execute effective sales GTM, market campaigns, co-branding initiatives, and lead generation programs across key Indian cities.
  • Technical expertise and solution alignment: Possess thorough knowledge of GCP and leverage them to tailor solutions that address our clients' specific needs and industry challenges within the Indian context.
  • Demand generation and pipeline development: Proactively identify and qualify potential clients across India requiring cloud solutions, nurturing leads through the conversion funnel to secure profitable engagements.
  • Well versed with sales cycles involving infra migrations, app modernization, data modernization, AI and the corresponding GCP solutions.
  • Competitive analysis and market intelligence: Stay updated on cloud technology advancements, competitor landscape, and market trends specific to India to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Financial performance and deal closure: Actively participate in deal negotiations with cloud partners and clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and driving revenue growth for both sides.
  • Relationship management and reporting: Foster consistent communication with cloud partners and internal teams, providing regular updates on project progress and ensuring seamless collaboration.


Ideal Candidate:

  • 5-10 years of experience in B2B technology sales, ideally within the cloud computing or related domain within India.
  • Proven track record of success in building and managing strategic partnerships with GCP, specifically within the Indian market.
  • Strong understanding of leading GTM for cloud platforms (GCP) and their core strengths, services, and pricing models for infra/ solution sizing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field from a reputed Indian B-School is a must.
  • Existing relationships with GCP sales team & management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence partner stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep market knowledge and competitive awareness within the Indian cloud computing ecosystem.
  • Data-driven approach with proficiency in analyzing market trends partner Programs and identifying growth opportunities within India.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills, adept at juggling multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and across diverse geographic locations.
