Duration: 3+ Months Project Assignment

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Electrical Commissioning Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Alimak elevators for a short-term international assignment in Cuba. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Alimak or similar industrial elevator systems, preferably within heavy industrial or construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning of Alimak elevators and vertical access systems.
• Perform mechanical & Electrical checks, load tests, functional tests, and safety inspections during commissioning.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electro-mechanical issues and ensure optimal performance of the elevator systems.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, installation manuals, mechanical layouts, and safety procedures.
• Ensure all installation and commissioning activities comply with manufacturer guidelines, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Collaborate with site construction teams, OEM specialists, and project engineers to ensure seamless project execution.
• Prepare commissioning reports, documentation, and handover packages.
• Provide on-site training and operational guidance to the local team when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors Degree in Electro Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (mandatory).
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in installation and commissioning of Alimak elevators or similar industrial lifting systems.
• Strong hands-on mechanical expertise with vertical access systems, hoists, or industrial elevators.
• Proven experience in heavy industrial, construction, or cement plant environments (preferred).
• Strong understanding of mechanical safety standards, alignment procedures, and commissioning protocols.
• Ability to work in international and multicultural project settings.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.

• Project Duration: 3+ months (extendable based on project requirements)
