Job Description :

• Performance monitoring using vmstat, iostat, sar, topas, netstat and nmon and analyzing these reports to figure out any performance issues.
• Should have Experience in ML, TL update and APAR, fix installation, and patch update on AIX and devices on requirements basis and on customer specifications.
• Should have a Knowledge to do Capacity planning on all servers to increase/decrease the resources
• Should have knowledge to generate the NMON and skills to analyse the reports
• Should adhere to the SLA and Work on Incident and Change Management
• Manage and administer AIX servers across multiple environments, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Install, configure, and maintain AIX operating systems and related software.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize performance and efficiency.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations in accordance with best practices and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate AIX systems with other infrastructure components such as storage, networking, and virtualization platforms.
• Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for AIX environments.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including system configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and end-users as needed.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to AIX administration.
