Must-Have Adhering to SLAs -ITIL Processes awareness and adhering. Mentoring / Training Team Members Handling tickets / requests. . Install and configure AIX/Linux operating systems and servers. . Support AIX/Linux OS to run various software applications. . Maintain and upgrade the AIX/Linux OS. . Perform root cause analysis , Identify and resolve system issues in a timely manner. . Troubleshooting technical issues . Develop procedures for AIX/Linux security and management. . Update standard policies according to environment changes and audit result . Support AIX/Linux OS to run various software applications . Plan and coordinate the installation, testing, and maintenance of AIX systems software and related hardware. . Plan and execute AIX/Linux projects within approved timelines. . Analyze software and hardware environments to determine any system defects. . Maintain documentation of AIX/Linux hardware and software components and user and operator procedures. . Detect and troubleshoot system operational and functional issues. . Perform performance maintenance routines to ensure continuous system availability. . Develop and implement disaster recovery procedures to ensure business continuity. . Planning Backup/Restoration Strategy for 24x7 operation support - . Perform H/W & performance tuning and maintenance . Day-to-Day reporting analysis tasks . Vendor co-ordination & followup
