Job Title:AI & ML Services – Platform Engineer

Job Summary:

The Citi Enterprise Analytics Services organization is actively recruiting for a Platform Engineer to support AI/ML services on public and private cloud platforms. The candidate should have experience in building data analytical platform services for large scale deployments. S/he will be responsible for architecture and engineering activities to enable next generation platform services for the enterprise.

Responsibilities:

• Install, validate, and build automation solutions to manage AI/ML tools on private and public cloud platforms.

• Partner with business and application teams to understand requirements and assist in developing solutions to address their use case(s).

• Capture user requirements and work with stakeholders to help prioritize the delivery.

• Contribute towards developing architecture patterns, service construction, and value calibration to ensure that deliverables are aligned to organizational objectives.

• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

• Publish best practices, configuration recommendations, design documents, and playbooks.

• Support in training and mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of overall IT experience.

• 4+ years of related field experience as AIML Platform Engineer

• Hands-on work with the analytics products such as Data Robot, Dataiku, H2O, etc.

• Able to install, validate, test, and automate solutions on Linux platform.

• Experience with Docker/Container and Kubernetes and using them for developing macro/micro services design patterns.

• Understanding of analytics concepts, AI model lifecycle, GenAI and MLOps.

• Understanding of platform engineering concepts and design principles including multi-tenancy, scalability, high availability, fail-over, etc.

• Any experience in distributed data processing using Spark, Hive, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of public cloud platforms like AWS and GCP.

• Able to operate in cross-functional environment.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Good team player interested in sharing knowledge with other team members and interested in learning new skills.

• Ability to create documents of high quality. Ability to work in a structured environment and follow procedures, processes, and policies.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
