Job Description

This is a full-time, work from home role.


We are looking for a graphic designer with experience in image and video generation using AI tools like Nano Banana Pro, Midjourney, Sora / Veo etc. He/she should have atleast 1-1.5 years of work experience in a graphic design studio.

Pause Design is a boutique graphic design agency that intervenes in brand identity design, packaging design, print & publication design and brand communication design.

Essential info:


  • Salary: INR 40,000 per month (no tax deduction).
  • 30 days of paid leave in a year. No sandwich leaves policy. No cap on number of consecutive days.
  • Working days: Monday to Friday.
  • Full-time, work-from-home.
  • Reports to: Director.

Role summary:


Youll create photoreal, brand-aligned images and short videos that feel indistinguishable from a real shootfor websites and performance creatives.


This is not AI art. This is art direction + design craft + production discipline, using modern gen tools and finishing in Adobe.


Youll work across products and servicesso you need to be good at both product/garment realism and human lifestyle storytelling.


What youll do:


  • Generate branded photoreal images for:
  • Website hero banners
  • Lifestyle imagery
  • Product visualization
  • Social ads and website creatives
  • Generate short photoreal videos (520s typical), including:
  • Shot ideation (camera angle, framing, lighting)
  • Prompting + iterations
  • Basic motion finishing and exports
  • Maintain consistency across a set:
  • Same subject/garment/environment across multiple angles
  • Controlled variations (lighting, pose, crop, background) without drift
  • Finish to production quality in Adobe:
  • Retouching and compositing
  • Color correction and realism checks (shadows, reflections, skin, fabric)
  • Typography overlays and layout for ad formats
  • Exporting for web/social specs
  • Build and manage an internal system:
  • Reference boards (lighting, styling, composition)
  • Prompt recipes + versioning
  • Asset organization and naming conventions

Quality bar (non-negotiable):

  • Outputs must look like a real shoot: believable skin, fabric behavior, proportions, lighting physics, and camera logic.
  • Minimal AI tells (warped hands, broken seams, inconsistent logos, weird reflections, uncanny faces, etc.).
  • Brand consistency across all assets.

Required skills:

  • Must have a bachelors degree in graphic design or visual communication from an institute of repute.
  • Solid fundamentals: composition, layout, typography, color, hierarchy.
  • Strong eye for photorealism (you can spot fake lighting, wrong shadows, odd anatomy).
  • Working proficiency in Photoshop + at least basic proficiency in After Effects/Premiere Pro (or willingness to ramp fast).
  • Ability to follow creative direction precisely and iterate quickly without losing control.
  • Comfort with structured workflows: references generations selects polish exports.

Nice to have (not required):

  • Experience with apparel realism (drape, seams, waistbands, texture behavior).
  • Basic motion design polish (clean type, transitions, pacing).
  • Familiarity with 3D mockups (Blender/C4D) or product rendering.
  • Experience creating ad variants systematically (1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9).
