Job Title: AI Technical Manager Generative AI & Agentic Systems

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AI Technical Manager with deep expertise in Generative AI and Agentic AI systems to lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation intelligent applications.

This role requires a strong hands-on technical background combined with team leadership capabilities. You will manage a team of AI engineers while actively contributing to system architecture, experimentation, and production deployment of LLM-powered and agent-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

Business Growth

• Support Sales in AI-led proposals and client workshops
• Drive AI-led deal conversion
• Define pricing models (project-based, subscription, managed AI)
• Lead AI discovery workshops with enterprise clients

Technical Leadership

• Architect and oversee development of Generative AI applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Design and implement Agentic AI systems, including multi-agent workflows, tool use, memory systems, and reasoning pipelines.
• Lead the development of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and knowledge-grounded AI systems.
• Guide model selection, prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and performance optimization.
• Ensure robustness, observability, and reliability of AI systems in production.

Team Management

• Manage and mentor a team of AI/ML engineers and applied researchers.
• Drive sprint planning, code reviews, architectural discussions, and delivery timelines.
• Foster a strong engineering culture focused on experimentation, ownership, and quality.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams.

System Architecture & Deployment

Oversee end-to-end AI pipelines including:

• Data ingestion & preprocessing
• Embedding and vector search systems
• Agent orchestration frameworks
• API integrations and tool execution layers
• Implement MLOps best practices for deployment, monitoring, evaluation, and scaling.
• Ensure AI governance, guardrails, and hallucination mitigation strategies are in place.

Required Qualifications:

• 78 years of experience in AI/ML, NLP, or software engineering.
• 25 years of experience leading technical teams.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM-based applications in production.

Strong expertise in:

• Generative AI architectures
• Transformer-based models
• Prompt engineering & structured outputs
• Embeddings and semantic retrieval
• Agentic workflows and reasoning systems
• Experience with orchestration frameworks and LLM ecosystems (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, similar frameworks).
• Strong programming skills (Python preferred) and familiarity with ML frameworks.
• Experience deploying scalable AI systems in cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with multi-agent collaboration systems.
• Exposure to multimodal AI systems.
• Experience fine-tuning or optimizing foundation models.
• Familiarity with evaluation benchmarks for GenAI systems.
• Startup or fast-paced product development experience.
