As a research scientist, you will work with the Advanced AI Labs research team to understand and push the frontiers of AI, using core technologies such as LLMs, evolutionary algorithms, and other machine learning and AI techniques. The team's current research is focused around areas including, but not limited to:
· Multi-agent systems
· AI for decision-making
· AI orchestration
· Trustworthy AI
· Open-ended AI
· LLMs
· Evolutionary computation
Key Responsibilities:
● Conduct advanced research in AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, and adjacent fields to solve complex and impactful business and societal problems (AI-for-Good).
● Design, develop, and optimize models and algorithms involving novel architecture and training methodologies and advance AI capabilities.
● Publish research findings in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and conferences, e.g., IEEE
● Collaborate cross-functionally with product teams, AI engineers, domain SMEs, and client teams to transition research prototypes into production ready solutions
● Contribute to open-source communities through active GitHub engagement
● Stay abreast of the latest developments
● Mentor junior researchers and engineers
● Advise AI engineers on the development of practical applications
Your Profile:
● PhD in Computer Science or another technical field. Exceptional bachelor’s or master’s degree candidates will also be considered.
● The ideal candidate will have theoretical and hands-on experience with LLMs.
● 2 years of experience with multi-agents
● 5+ years of experience in AI or ML research
● Publications at venues such as IEEE, ICLR, NeurIPS, GECCO, ALife, AAAI, IJCAI, ICML, etc.
● Strong implementation skills
● Strong development and debugging skills in Python
● Experience with AI framework such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Keras, Scikit-Learn
● Strong problem-solving and analytic skills
● Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Strong publication record in top-tier conferences, workshops or journals.
