AI / Python Developer (14+ years Diversity Only)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior AI/Python Developer with 14+ years of proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable, high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in Python development, architectural design, system optimization, and mentorship of junior developers.

Key Skills

• Experience in Python (must), NodeJS, ReactJS
• Experience using LLMs, building ML models
• Experience building APIs as per OpenAI standard
• Experience in SQL and NoSQL Databases
• CI/CD, SRE principles, and must have experience in production delivery
• Experience in at least one automation test framework

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade Python applications.
• Build scalable, maintainable, and secure code across the entire SDLC.
• Architect robust backend systems and integrate APIs, databases, and third-party services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, Product, and Design.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, performing code reviews and technical coaching.
• Implement and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and documentation.
• Continuously evaluate and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to strategic technology decisions, and drive innovation across platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 14+ years of hands-on experience in Python software development.
• Expertise in Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, FastAPI, or similar.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and event-driven systems.
• Proficiency in relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Solid understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of big data technologies or data engineering pipelines.
• Exposure to machine learning frameworks or AI-based systems is a plus.
• Background in leading large-scale software development projects.

Education:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
