AI Product Manager

Were hiring a Senior Product Manager AI Transformation to lead the 01 development of AI-centric tax, accounting, and audit products. Youll define the vision, validate demand, build the roadmap, and own product execution from early discovery through launch and iteration. This role is hands-on, strategic, and ideal for a builder who thrives in early-stage environments.

Youll work closely with founders, engineering, data science, and customers to shape the future of CPA-centric technology.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Strategy & Vision (01)

• Define and evangelize a bold product vision for AI-powered tax, accounting, and audit workflows.
• Conduct market and competitive research to deeply understand CPA firm needs.
• Prioritize problems with the highest business impact for early users.
• Translate regulatory requirements into product hypotheses and MVP definitions.

AI-Driven Product Development

• Lead discovery with prototypes, rapid ideation, and iterative validation.
• Work with Data Science to design ML and NLP capabilities (e.g., document classification, semantic search, intelligent assistants).

Enable features like:

• Automated tax preparation & compliance insights
• AI-assisted audit documentation & variance detection
• Intelligent data extraction and anomaly detection
• Build systems with explainability, human-in-the-loop review, and accuracy thresholds appropriate for regulated use.

• Customer Discovery & Validation
• Lead customer interviews with CPA firms (partners, managers, staff).
• Translate workflow insights into product requirements and user stories.
• Validate product hypotheses with real user feedback and measurable outcomes.

Ownership & Delivery

• Prioritize, plan, and execute product releases with cross-functional teams.
• Define MVP success metrics and iterate quickly based on data and feedback.
• Scale core features from prototype to production-ready with robust metrics.

Metrics & Outcomes

• Define and track key success metrics, such as:
• Time saved per workflow
• Reduction in manual effort
• Model accuracy and error rates
• Customer adoption and retention

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, with 2+ years in AI/ML products.
• Proven track record building early-stage B2B SaaS products (01 focus).
• Comfort with ambiguity you thrive building frameworks where none exist.
• Strong analytical skills, deep user empathy, and a data-driven mindset.
• Experience partnering with engineering and data science.

Domain Knowledge (Preferred)

• Experience with U.S. tax, accounting, or audit workflows CPA background a plus.
• Familiarity with regulations and compliance (IRS, GAAP, SOC, AICPA/PCAOB).
• Experience building tools for regulated industries (fintech, regtech, compliance).
• Technical & Leadership Competencies
• Product discovery and validation methodologies (e.g., rapid prototyping, usability testing)
