Role Overview: AI Practice Lead
Propheus is seeking an AI Practice Lead, as part of E.D.G.E team, to build, grow, and scale one or more industry-focused AI practices (e.g., Retail, CPG, Telecom, Consulting, BFSI).
In this role, you will own go-to-market strategy, business development, partnerships, and client success, and be accountable for driving measurable business impact from AI engagements using Propheus Digital Atlas.
You will sit at the intersection of industry expertise, AI-enabled technology, and enterprise decision-making, shaping how clients adopt and scale real-world AI solutions that deliver measurable business impact.
This is a full-time onsite role based in Bengaluru, with business travel to the US and Southeast Asia as required..
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and grow one or more AI practices or business verticals by defining the vision, go-to-market strategy, priority use cases, and revenue growth plan
- Drive go-to-market execution and business development by identifying opportunities, shaping deals, and closing high-value engagements
- Build and scale strategic partnerships with consulting firms, system integrators, cloud providers, and relevant ecosystem players
- Lead client-facing solutioning and presales, including discovery workshops, proposals, executive presentations, demos, and proof-of-concepts
- Ensure delivery quality and business outcomes by working closely with delivery, data science, and product teams to build scalable and impactful solutions
- Develop strong sector expertise by understanding industry workflows, metrics, decision processes, and where AI can create value
- Convert real-world business problems into AI-led use cases using Propheus Digital Atlas, enterprise data, and predictive models
About You:
- 510 years of experience in consulting, client-facing, strategy, solutioning, or presales roles within tech consulting, management consulting, SaaS, or enterprise AI/data organizations
- Strong understanding of one or more industry sectors such as Retail, CPG, Telecom, BFSI, Travel, or similar, gained through hands-on exposure to real-world business workflows and customer use cases.
- Understanding of how technology and AI drive revenue growth, cost efficiency, and competitive advantage for enterprises
- Working knowledge of AI/ML concepts, data platforms, cloud ecosystems, and enterprise architecture (not required to be hands-on like an engineer, but able to engage deeply and credibly with technical teams)
- Demonstrated ability to lead client discussions, influence stakeholders, and position AI-led solutions with business and technology leaders
- Experience supporting or leading presales and go-to-market efforts, including discovery sessions, proposal development, demos, and solution scoping
- Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly and persuasively
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-growing environments, and the ability to bring structure, clarity, and momentum to new initiatives
- Willingness to travel internationally for client engagements, workshops, and partnership activities
