Tech Lead AI/ML & GenAI (Core Platform)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Chennai / Bangalore

Experience: 10+ years

CTC: 30 LPA max

About the Role

We are looking for a Tech Lead AI/ML & GenAI to drive the development of core platform capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership role involving LLM-based systems, AI-powered search, workflow automation, and full-stack platform development.

You will work on building scalable, high-performance AI-driven applications, while leading technical design and mentoring teams.

Key Responsibilities

Design and build AI/ML & GenAI-driven core platform features
Develop LLM-based applications using LangChain, RAG, embeddings
Build and optimize AI-powered search & workflow automation
Design scalable microservices & APIs
Lead full-stack development (backend + frontend)
Deploy and monitor AI systems using Kubernetes, CI/CD, DevOps
Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices

Must-Have Skills

Strong experience in AI/ML & Generative AI
Hands-on with LLMs, NLP, RAG architectures
Experience with LangChain, Haystack, LangGraph
Vector databases: Pinecone, Milvus, Neo4j
Backend: Python / Java / Node.js / Spring Boot
Frontend: React.js / Angular / TypeScript
Microservices, APIs, event-driven systems
DevOps & MLOps: CI/CD, Kubernetes, OpenShift
AI-powered search & semantic understanding

Preferred Skills

AI chatbots, IVR automation
Speech-to-Text / Text-to-Speech (Whisper, Google TTS)
Dashboards & AI monitoring (Splunk, AppDynamics, OpenTelemetry)

Ideal Candidate

7+ years of experience in AI/ML & full-stack development
Hands-on Tech Lead with ownership mindset
Experience taking AI solutions from design to production
Comfortable working in fast-paced, product-focused environments
