AI/ML Lead – Vision Products

Role Overview

We are seeking an AI/ML Lead Vision Products to lead the development of advanced computer vision solutions that extract meaningful insights from images and videos.

This role sits at the intersection of AI research, product engineering, and scalable system design, where you will build production-grade vision systems powering real-world applications such as inspection systems, document understanding, video analytics, and automated decision-making workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Computer Vision Product Development

• Lead the design and development of end-to-end computer vision pipelines.
• Build systems for:
• Object detection and recognition
• Image classification
• Video understanding and event detection
• Image segmentation and feature extraction
• OCR and document intelligence
• Develop pipelines including preprocessing, inference, post-processing, and evaluation.

2. Model Development & Deployment

• Design, train, and optimize deep learning models for vision use cases.
• Work with large-scale image/video datasets to improve accuracy and robustness.
• Build production-ready ML systems with:
• Model monitoring
• Retraining pipelines
• Performance optimization
• Optimize models for real-time inference, edge devices, or cloud deployment.

3. Productization of Vision AI

• Translate computer vision capabilities into scalable enterprise-grade products.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate models into APIs and workflows.
• Design high-throughput architectures for image/video processing.

4. Technical Leadership

• Lead and mentor a team of ML engineers and data scientists.
• Define and enforce best practices for:
• Model development
• Dataset creation & labeling
• Experimentation & evaluation
• Drive decisions on:
• Model architectures
• Training infrastructure
• Deployment strategies

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

• Partner with product managers, domain experts, and engineering teams.
• Convert business problems into AI-driven solutions.
• Collaborate on data pipelines, infrastructure, and APIs.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in AI/ML with strong focus on computer vision.
• Proven experience building production-grade vision systems.
• Strong expertise in:
• Python
• PyTorch / TensorFlow
• Experience with:
• CNN-based architectures
• Transformer-based vision models
• Object detection frameworks (e.g., YOLO, Faster R-CNN)
• Segmentation models
• Hands-on experience with large-scale image/video datasets.
• Experience building end-to-end ML pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise-grade vision products (not just research).
• Exposure to:
• Video analytics systems
• Inspection / quality detection systems
• Familiarity with MLOps practices:
• Experiment tracking
• Model monitoring
• Automated retraining
• Experience in real-time inference or edge AI optimization.
• Background in enterprise software or regulated industries is a plus.
