The Challenge
We are looking for a skilled AI/ML Lead Engineer with hands-on experience in programmatic advertising, real-time bidding (RTB), and ad tech ecosystems. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable ML solutions that power highthroughput systems for bidding efficiency, audience targeting, and supply path optimization (SPO).
You will own the full ML lifecyclefrom data preprocessing and feature engineering to model training, deployment, and ongoing monitoring. Using AWS SageMaker and cloud-native technologies, youll build automated, performancedriven ML pipelines that support real-time decisioning at scale.
This is a critical role for enhancing auction dynamics, media efficiency, predictive modeling, and overall business outcomes through advanced machine learning.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy ML models for programmatic advertising, including RTB optimization, auction modeling, and pricing strategies.
- Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines using AWS SageMaker, SageMaker Pipelines, and supporting AWS services.
- Conduct data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, validation, and evaluation on large-scale datasets.
- Develop and refine audience models, identity resolution solutions, targeting algorithms, and predictive analytics.
- Implement bid landscape modeling and SPO strategies to improve efficiency and ROI.
- Monitor production models for performance drift and manage lifecycle processes such as retraining and versioning.
- Apply advanced ML techniques such as reinforcement learning, Bayesian optimization, NLP, or computer vision when applicable.
- Collaborate closely with data engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to ensure privacy-safe, scalable, and high-performing ML solutions.
Essential Skills & Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying ML models, preferably in media, ad tech, or programmatic advertising.
- Strong programming proficiency in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, LightGBM, etc.
Solid understanding of:
- Auction theory
- Real-time bidding (RTB)
- Supply path optimization (SPO)
- Bid landscape modeling
Proven experience with:
- Audience modeling and identity graphs
- Targeting and predictive analytics
Practical experience working with cloud platforms, specifically:
- Designing and deploying ML models using AWS SageMaker
- Automating workflows via SageMaker Pipelines
- Integrating with AWS services such as Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
- Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, model evaluation, and performance monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with reinforcement learning, Bayesian optimization, or economic modeling for pricing strategies.
- Knowledge of computer vision (CV) or natural language processing (NLP) for media tagging or content classification.
- Exposure to privacy-safe technologies, data clean rooms, or federated learning.
- Hands-on experience with MLOps tools such as MLflow, Weights & Biases, or Kubeflow.
