AI/ML Engineer – Level I ( 1-3 Years Experience )

Our client is looking for a Python + AI/ML Engineer to support the design, development, and deployment of machine learningdriven solutions. This role is ideal for engineers with 23 years of experience who have strong Python fundamentals, hands-on exposure to ML algorithms, and experience working with data-driven models in real-world environments.

You will work closely with data scientists, backend engineers, and product teams to build, train, and integrate ML models into scalable applications.

• Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models using Python
• Work with structured datasets using Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
• Implement and optimize common ML algorithms (regression, classification, clustering, etc.)
• Assist in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation
• Integrate ML models into backend services and applications
• Build and expose basic APIs for model inference using FastAPI or Flask
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into ML solutions
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in debugging and performance optimization
• Follow best practices around data handling, model versioning, and experimentation

• 23 years of hands-on experience with Python
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals and algorithms
• Practical experience with Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn
• Ability to build, train, and evaluate ML models end-to-end
• Experience working with datasets, data cleaning, and feature engineering
• Basic understanding of APIs and backend integration
• Familiarity with Git and standard development workflows

• Experience with FastAPI or Flask for serving ML models
• Exposure to deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch
• Understanding of model deployment concepts and ML pipelines
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience with experiment tracking tools or model monitoring
