AI/ML Engineer - +4 years experience - Contractor in USD

For an international project in Chennai, we are urgently looking for a AI/ML Engineer. We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer with +4 years of hands-on experience in developing

and deploying machine learning models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI/ML frameworks, data processing techniques, and Python programming. Experience in the finance

industry and knowledge of Azure AI/ML services is an avantage.

We are looking for a motivated contractor. This position is long-term. Candidates need to be fluent in English.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Develop, train, and implement machine learning models and AI-based automation solutions.

Work with both structured and unstructured data, performing data normalization, cleansing, and validation;

Design and build scalable AI/ML applications using Python;

Develop RESTful web services and Python-based libraries;

Utilize ML/AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn;

Implement best practices in AI/ML, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and accuracy;

Leverage Azure AI/ML services, including Cognitive Services (Language Service, Form Recognizer, BOT Framework, OpenAI, etc.);

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into business applications;

Stay updated with advancements in AI/ML technologies and suggest improvements;

Profile:

Bachelor or Master degree;

4+ years of hands-on experience as an AI/ML Engineer;

Proficiency in Python and experience in building Python applications;

Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques, algorithms, and natural language processing (NLP);

Experience with ML/AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar);

Hands-on experience with data processing, normalization, cleansing, and validation;

Familiarity with financial data sources and finance industry experience is an advantage;

Experience with Azure AI/ML services (preferred);

Fluent in English;
