AI Engineer - SDE 2

Attri AI is at the forefront of developing innovative, production-ready AI solutions. We are looking for an ambitious and skilled Software Development Engineer II to join our specialized AI/ML engineering team. This role is crucial for developing and deploying scalable, production-ready AI models and integrating them into core business systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python, modern MLOps principles, and experience transforming prototypes into robust, high-performance applications.

• Strong proficiency in Python for backend development (FastAPI / Flask / Django).
• Solid understanding of websockets, REST APIs , microservices, and distributed backend fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience integrating and consuming model inference APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, local models, etc.).
• Practical experience with agentic frameworks such as:
• LangGraph
• OpenAI Agents SDK
• Google ADK (Agent Developer Kit)
• Expertise in tool calling : designing tools, schemas, multi-agent workflows, and handling structured outputs.
• Strong context engineering skills (retrieval strategies, prompt orchestration, token optimization, guardrails).
• Experience working with or building MCP (Model Context Protocol) tools/servers is a strong plus.
• Good backend fundamentals: SQL/NoSQL , caching, asynchronous processing, and performance debugging.
• Familiarity with system design and production-ready engineering practices.
• Experience with cloud deployment for AI agents is a plus (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong communication skills and ability to own features end-to-end.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services relevant to ML (e.g., SageMaker, Vertex AI).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience in building and maintaining API services (e.g., FastAPI, Flask) to expose ML models for real-time inference.
• Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Familiarity with data versioning tools (DVC) and model serving frameworks.
