Role Description

We are seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to join our growing team and work on a secure, internal GPT-based platform for a leading enterprise in the airline industry. This platform enables employees to safely interact with sensitive and proprietary data within a controlled AWS environment.

The role builds upon a successful proof of concept using Claude Haiku, with plans to scale and transition to Claude 3.7. You will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling this next-generation AI system.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, cloud-native applications on AWS
• Build and enhance an internal GPT/LLM-based tool for secure enterprise data access
• Architect and implement end-to-end AI pipelines, including RAG workflows
• Integrate AWS services such as Bedrock, Lambda, EC2, S3, and SageMaker
• Develop robust backend services in Python, including WebSocket-based APIs
• Contribute to front-end development using React (JavaScript) as needed
• Implement security best practices, data isolation, and compliance controls for sensitive workloads
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices
• Stay up to date with advancements in AWS, LLMs, and Generative AI

Required Qualifications (Must Haves)

• 2+ years of experience
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including:
• Amazon Bedrock
• AWS Lambda
• EC2
• S3
• SageMaker
• Proficiency in Python for backend and AI application development
• Experience consuming and building WebSocket-based APIs
• Strong experience with RAG architectures and vector databases
• Hands-on experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Practical experience with React JavaScript for UI development

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Haves)

• Advanced front-end development experience
• Experience with Claude models (Claude Haiku, Claude 3.7)
• Prior experience building internal enterprise AI tools
• Familiarity with secure, regulated data environments
