AI Engineer (Frontend Focused)

Role Description

We're looking for an AI Engineer who owns the full stack but brings something extra on the front end. You're equally comfortable building backend APIs as you are crafting interfaces that feel intuitive and well-designed. You have a natural eye for design, a point of view on how things should look and work, and the skills to build it end-to-end. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy moving fast, solving hard problems, and building products from scratch.

What You'll Do

• Own and ship full-stack features from API and data layer to polished, production-ready UI
• Build interfaces with a strong sense of design language, component structure, and user experience
• Integrate AI/ML capabilities into user-facing products
• Write clean back-end services and APIs(Python/FastAPI or equivalent)
• Use AI coding tools actively to move fast and write better code

Qualifications:

Required:

• 13 years of hands-on full-stack development experience
• Strong proficiency in React(or equivalent front-end framework) and back-end skills (Python/FastAPI/Flask or equivalent)
• A natural knack for design you have opinions about layouts, flows, and visual hierarchy, and know how to build interfaces that look and feel right
• Familiarity with AI coding tools (e.g. Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Claude) and comfortable using them day-to-day
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Brownie Points:

• Built and shipped AI products or side projects
• Experience building with AI/ML APIs or LLM-integrated products
• Familiarity with vector databases and RAG pipelines
• Experience with prompt evaluation and testing
• Experience working with a consumer-focused product company

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
