Job Description

Function: Data Science & Analytics Machine Learning / Applied AI

Key Skills:

Responsibilities

• Architect and design robust AI/ML solutions aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Lead the development of Generative AI applications, including conversational agents, chatbots, and personalized user experiences.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to integrate AI capabilities into consumer-facing products.
• Stay at the forefront of AI advancements and proactively identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies.
• Ensure AI/ML systems are production-ready with high standards for scalability, performance, reliability, and security.
• Guide and mentor ML engineers, promoting best practices across model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Define AI strategy and roadmaps, balancing immediate business impact with long-term innovation.
• Evaluate and drive adoption of appropriate tools, platforms, and frameworks for AI initiatives.
• Translate complex business problems into well-defined AI solutions in partnership with data scientists and product leaders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning, including deploying models in production environments.
• Strong expertise in Generative AI, NLP, and conversational AI systems.
• Proven track record of building and scaling AI-powered chatbots or virtual assistants.
• Proficiency in Python and popular ML frameworks/libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and scalable AI architectures.
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, feature engineering, and MLOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving ability with deep knowledge of ML algorithms and system design.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI solutions with measurable business impact.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, or a related discipline.
• Prior exposure to financial services, fintech, or consumer internet platforms.
• Experience with recommendation systems, personalization, or reinforcement learning.
• Contributions to open-source projects or published research in the AI/ML space.
