AI Agent Engineer

Your role

•design, develop, and deploy AI agents capable of reasoning, planning, and automating workflows.

•leverage Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, ML, Bot Framework, etc.) to build scalable solutions.

•architect agent workflows, including memory, tool usage, APIs, and multi-step reasoning.

•integrate AI agents into enterprise applications using APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.

•collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to identify use cases and deliver MVPs.

•ensure performance, reliability, and security of AI agent solutions in production.

•stay up to date with LLM frameworks, prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and orchestration libraries.

Your team

Our team is working in Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance IT team based in Pune, India. Our role is to design and implement IT solutions for global Regulatory Reporting requirements (Major shareholding disclosures, Short Selling disclosures, 13F reporting, Conflict clearance … etc). We are a global IT team supporting internal clients throughout the world.

Your expertise

•6–8+ years of software development experience (Python, C#, or Node.js).

•hands-on experience with Azure AI ecosystem (Preferred):

•azure OpenAI Service (GPT models)

•azure Cognitive Search (for RAG)

•azure Machine Learning (for model deployment & monitoring)

•azure Bot Service or Logic Apps (for orchestration)

•experience building agent frameworks (LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, or custom-built).

•strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architecture.

•knowledge of vector databases (e.g., Azure Cosmos DB with vector search, Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS).

•problem-solving mindset with the ability to experiment rapidly and iterate.
