Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and deploy a robust marketing mix aligned with business objectives.
  • Analyze IPM data to assess therapy trends, customer segmentation, and emerging market dynamics.
  • Recommend strategic entry opportunities into new therapies and specialties in alignment with divisional goals.
  • Implement innovative marketing strategies and tactics to ensure project success and drive business growth.
  • Track market trends, forecast sales, and monitor brand performance metrics.
  • Sustain and grow established brands and line extensions through targeted promotional strategies.
  • Conduct ROI analysis for major marketing investments to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Manage the product lifecycle effectively using the BCG matrix and other strategic frameworks.

2. Market & Customer Development

  • Develop and execute strategies for market expansion and customer segmentation.
  • Identify, engage, and manage Key Opinion Leaders (minimum 2025 KOLs).
  • Participate in key customer forums to influence decision-makers and strengthen brand positioning.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence and design responses to evolving competitor strategies.
  • Communicate differentiated value propositions and ensure alignment with field force teams.

3. Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor Therapy Heads (GPMs) and Product Managers.
  • Monitor performance against business goals, ensuring sustained brand growth and profitability.
  • Build and promote a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.

4. Field Force Support & Training

  • Ensure effective field implementation of marketing strategies.
  • Conduct joint fieldwork (1820 days per quarter) to support and guide execution teams.
  • Train the field force on promotional themes and evaluate implementation effectiveness.

5. Budget Management

  • Drive efficient cost and profit management across all marketing operations.
  • Ensure optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to maintain adequate inventory levels for uninterrupted market operations.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing large therapy portfolios.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, and oncology ecosystem.
