Key Responsibilities

1. Maintenance Management

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance systems.
• Ensure maximum uptime and efficiency of all production and utility equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-based systems.
• Maintain maintenance MIS, downtime analysis, and root cause analysis (RCA).
• Control maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor management.
• Implement TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.

2. Machinery & Equipment Responsibility

Responsible for maintenance, performance, and commissioning (if required) of:

A. Corrugation Line (2/3/5/7 Ply)

• Single Facer Machines
• Double Backer
• Pre-heaters & Pre-conditioners
• Glue Kitchen & Starch Preparation System
• Sheet Cut-off & Stacker
• Reel Stand (Hydraulic/Electrical)

B. Conversion Machines

• Rotary Die Cutting Machines
• Flat Bed Die Cutter
• Flexo Printer Slotter (Manual/Auto)
• Folder Gluer Machines
• Stitching Machines (Pinning)
• Automatic Folder Gluer
• Auto Bundling & Strapping Machines

C. Auxiliary Equipment

• Air Compressors
• Boilers / Thermic Fluid Heater
• DG Sets
• Chillers
• ETP/STP (if applicable)
• Hydraulic Systems
• Dust Collection Systems

D. Automation & Electrical

• PLC (Siemens/Allen Bradley/Delta etc.)
• HMI & SCADA systems
• Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• Control Panels & Electrical Distribution
• Sensors, Encoders & Safety Interlocks

3. Project Management

• Plan and execute new machinery installation, plant expansion, and automation projects.
• Coordinate with OEM suppliers for installation, commissioning, and trials.
• Layout planning for optimal workflow and space utilization.
• Capex budgeting, vendor negotiation, and project cost control.
• Ensure timely project completion within approved budget.
• Oversee plant civil, electrical, and mechanical infrastructure projects.

4. Utilities & Infrastructure Management

• Ensure uninterrupted supply of steam, compressed air, and electricity.
• Monitor power consumption and drive energy-saving initiatives.
• Manage AMF panels, transformers, and power distribution systems.
• Maintain fire safety systems and statutory compliance.

5. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to factory safety norms and statutory requirements.
• Conduct safety audits and machine safety upgrades.
• Maintain records for inspections (Electrical, Boiler, Pollution Control, etc.).
