Role Description
- Working across domain at team and tribe level, you will collaborate with teams, focusing on all stakeholder value for Risk portfolio. You will enable an agile culture, building cohesive team dynamics while fostering trust and collaboration across team members; safe to challenge, experiment and fail without fear, with delivered outcomes at the highest quality.
- Key responsibility will include connecting with ERT and DCO and facilitate the understanding at Tribe and Squads level on remediation of prioritized Audit, SII and TRC items till closure. With in-depth and real-world experience, you will coach people and the organization to surface their biggest impediments preventing an environment in which agility can thrive. Helping the group to relate and connect their actions to culture, including how the approach to agile processes and tools impacts high performance. This includes the impact and effective use of governance and metrics.

Your key responsibilities
- Accountable for establishing scrum framework suitable to Risk and Control governance as defined in the Scrum Guide.
- Leasing with the Tribe, Squads-ITAO’s, ERT, Portfolio Owners and building a deep understanding in theory and practice for defined governance.
- Responsible for the Team’s effectiveness, coaching an improvement culture by focusing on continuous improvements, visualize and measure team flow, ensures impediments to the team are quickly removed.
- Facilitating discussions and drive an agreement on priorities across multiple stakeholders within the Tribe, outside the Tribe, business and Operations and help Squads create the roadmap vision and overall backlog for Risk Book of Work ensuring delivery of F2, F3, F4, Audit, SII, TRC and Regulatory items.
- Adopting agile values and principles, promoting agile mindset, and foster risk culture.
- Facilitate all scrum events within squads to manage and track Risk and control deliveries with various stakeholders and required artefacts gets documented, submitted in accordance to Finding life-Cycle.
- Adapt to organization governance and encouraging teams to continually innovate and improve.
- Surfacing up team metrics and helping with close monitoring progress of audit finding and self-identified issue remediation in partnership with key stakeholders from Technology, timely alerting of any potential roadblocks and proposing cost-effective solutions.
- Provide training to the teams on new facilitation techniques and overall risk and control culture.
- Empower teams to proactively manage risks and dependencies via JIRA Tool.
- Demonstrates a personal growth mindset - Lifelong learning.
Your skills and experience
- 10+ years overall IT experience and out of which 2+ years Scrum Master experience in a software driven environment, preferably in banking or a similarly regulated environment.
- 3+ years’ experience of working in an Agile environment practicing Scrum or Kanban (Lean Agile Practitioner), putting Agile Manifesto and Principles into practice with teams and organizations.
- Very strong communication skills both written and oral
- Certified practitioner to enable and train teams on the best Agile practices
- Experience using collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, GIT etc
- Experience in other Agile approaches such as Kanban , XP etc
Desirable experience
- Professional Coaching or Facilitating
- Desirable experience of scaling agility with multiple globally distributed teams
- Evidence of supporting team focus on high quality delivery
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate risks and control processes.
- Experience working in Risk and Control domain, Finding life cycle for self-identified issues AND Audit.
