Agent Core engineer - AWS

About the Role

We are looking for a strong AWS + AgentCore engineer who can work independently to design, build, and deploy AgentCore-based solutions on AWS. The role involves creating and integrating use cases, optimizing workflows, and ensuring scalable, secure cloud execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance AgentCore workflows, use cases, and automation pipelines.
• Design and implement AWS-native solutions using Lambda, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, etc.
• Integrate AgentCore with external systems, APIs, data sources, and internal platforms.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and security.
• Troubleshoot AgentCore orchestration issues and AWS environment problems.
• Build reusable modules, templates, and scripts for faster deployments.
• Work closely with architects, product teams, and developers to deliver end-to-end use cases.
• Create technical documentation and deployment guides.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (compute, storage, networking, IAM, serverless).
• Deep understanding of AgentCore framework, agents, workflows, triggers, and orchestration.
• Experience in building event-driven architectures and API integrations.
• Proficiency in Python/Node.js for scripting and automation.
• Experience with Terraform/CloudFormation for IaC is an advantage.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.)
