Job Description

We are looking for a skilled AEM Frontend Developer with strong experience in building headless and component-based solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). The ideal candidate should be proficient in modern frontend frameworks (React/Angular), have hands-on AEM Cloud experience, and be capable of integrating AEM with external systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop responsive, reusable AEM components, templates, and pages for web and headless implementations.
  • Work with AEM as a Cloud Service to build performant and scalable frontend experiences.
  • Implement headless content delivery using AEM Content Fragment Models , GraphQL APIs, and SPA frameworks.
  • Build and maintain frontend applications using React and Angular frameworks.
  • Integrate AEM with external systems, APIs, and third-party services.
  • Collaborate with backend developers, architects, designers, and business teams to translate requirements into high-quality deliverables.
  • Ensure frontend code quality, performance optimization, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and continuous improvement.
  • Apply strong architectural understanding to ensure scalable, maintainable frontend solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments (local, cloud, production).


Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in AEM frontend development .
  • Strong experience with AEM Sites , AEM as a Cloud Service , and component development.
  • Hands-on experience delivering headless AEM projects .
  • Strong skills in React and Angular , including SPA development.
  • Experience creating components, templates, editable pages , dialogs, and client-side libraries.
  • Good understanding of AEM architecture , caching, Dispatcher concepts, and content delivery models.
  • Experience integrating AEM with external systems via REST, GraphQL, or other APIs.
  • Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript , and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with Agile principles and working in Scrum teams.
  • Ability to analyse requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.


Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Adobe I/O Runtime or Adobe APIs.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for AEM Cloud.
  • Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Jest, AEM SIT).
  • Experience with performance tuning and SEO optimisation for AEM sites.
