As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

PwC Intelligence’s Office of the Chief Economist capability provides actionable insights and recommendations that help steer firm strategic decision-making and outlooks.
Successful candidates will have at least 8-10 years of experience in the following:
Analyzing economic, financial, and capital market trends that affect executive behavior, issues, and concerns.
Determining the implications of structural changes within capital markets, such as the privatization of financing markets, market concentration, and incorporation of environmental, social, and governance risk factors within investment processes.
Strong understanding of macro-economic environment (preferably US) and economic data /KPIs. Ability to connect the dots between macro-economic and financial metrics.
Developing and communicating written forward-looking perspectives on companies, industries, and capital markets, including insights about the M&A market.
Performing bottom-up, company-level as well as top-down, index-level fundamental analysis, including the analysis of financial statements and earnings calls to develop and summarize perspectives on client opportunities and risks that may inform PwC strategy and business development activities.
Using and leading others to use Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Python, Alteryx, Power BI, or other similar Visual Analytics tools.
Good understanding of industry databases and economic data sources.
Prior experience in management consulting, corporate finance, asset management, or investment banking is preferred.
The analyst will use the above to help derive strategic implications for our clients and PwC firm leaders, in consultation with the broader PwC Intelligence group.
Successful analysts should also:
Build relationships with colleagues and assess their needs
Effectively communicate implications of analyses
Have strong analytical writing and storyboarding skills
Lead project teams and coach less experienced analysts
Find and integrate new sources of financial, economic, and market data into analyses
Troubleshoot project issues and elevate to leadership as appropriate
Education
Preferred fields of study include Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics
MA/MSc. Economics or BStat/MStat with Econometrics from a recognized University
CFA Charter holder or Candidate from CFA Institute (USA) preferred
MBA or Master of Finance preferred with relevant qualifications/experience in Financial Analysis
