We are excited to announce an opening for Advanced Engineer Software at ACI. Please find below the details of the role and its responsibilities.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Designs / develops software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs and requirements using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise.
• Analyses user requirement / needs and makes decisions considering the nature of project.
• Participates in software design for features and bug fixes independently.
• Leads projects and programs within own organization with moderate complexity, scope, with guidance from manager.
• Provides technical expertise on the team; analyses and evaluates code issues and makes decisions within general parameters under broad supervision.
• Focus on quality in all aspects of work; follows established standards of excellence.
• Contributes to team activities and collaborates within the team and dependent project areas to solve problems.
• Has good understanding of quality standards and work required minimal revision.

Experience Required:

• 3-6 years of experience as a Full Stack developer in Java/Web development technologies.
• Proficient in at least one higher-level programming language and familiar with application development support software packages (OOAD, Reactive Java, Web Services Technologies, REST APIs).
• Practical knowledge of application servers such as such as Tomcat, Apache Jetty, Reactor Netty etc.,
• Practical knowledge of database technologies (Relational DBs such as Oracle, Azure SQL Server, Postgres SQL etc.,) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB / Cassandra) databases.
• Practical knowledge of UI/Web 2.0 Development (JavaScript, CSS, SCSS, HTML5, AJAX, jQuery, NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS) and working with Git and/or relevant source code repositories. .
• Practical knowledge GitHub Co-Pilot or similar tools.
• Practical knowledge of automated unit testing with tools like JUnit/TestNG and test automation frameworks such as Selenium/Playwright/Cucumber/Res-Assured / Karate
• Practical knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile).
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug programs.
• Azure or any other Cloud experience is required.
• CI/CD (Jenkins or GitHub Actions) is a big plus
• Docker and/or Kubernetes experience is a big plus
