Work Location: Bengaluru Must have Skills: Simulation Modeling Good to Have Skills: Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Programming Language, Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Key Responsibilities: The role of Discrete Event Simulation / Plant Simulation Specialist requires to lead the development of simulation models on Plant/production, logistic or warehouse systems processes The Specialist needs to perform What-If scenario and do analysis to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and provide solutions to improve current plant performance and validate future states/ scenarios. Pioneering with the latest technology innovations and learning constantly by investigating next tech in horizon. 2.Technical Experience: Experience in creating material flow simulation, Throughput simulation, Bottleneck analysis, Resource optimization, Inventory reduction and optimization. Simulation Models Discrete Event Simulation software for modeling and simulation- Tecnomatix/Siemens Plant Simulation V11, Anylogic or Flex Sim Industry Experience/ Knowledge of Automotive, Consumer, Retail Industry Plant and production system knowledge. Professional & Technical Skills: 1. Object oriented programming language Statistical analysis - C, C, MS Excel VBA. 2. Unity, Unreal Engine, Omniverse, VBS or similar 3D engine expertise. 3. Experience with cutting-edge XR devices such as Varjo XR-4, Apple Vision Pro 4. Experience with 3D workflows such as CAD modeling, 3D modeling. 5. Knowledge of several programming languages (C++, Java, Python) 6. Knowledge of distributed simulation standards / protocols (HLA, DIS, C2SIM) 7. Strong communication written and oral and interpersonal skills. 8. Demonstrated ability to handle customers and deliver results when working in cross-functional teams. 9. Strong knowledge in shop floor and discrete industry experience - automotive, consumer goods etc. Educational Qualification: BTech/BE - Mechanical, Industrial engineer Additional Info: Strong techno functional domain expertise
