A Day in the Life

We are seeking a skilled data engineer to join our team. As an Advanced Analytics Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines into our Snowflake HR data warehouse, ensuring efficient, secure data movement and accessibility for analytical purposes.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing large datasets
Develops, inspects, mines, transforms, and models data to raise productivity, improve decision making, and gain competitive advantage.
Utilize strong programming skills in Python to write clean, maintainable, and optimized code for data processing tasks
Possess a deep understanding of SQL to manage and query data effectively at scale
Conducts statistical analysis on data and information to ensure correct predictive forecasting or classification.
Manages all aspects of end-to-end data processing utilizing customized report building functions of systems.
Maintains analytical systems, verifies the accuracy of the data, and acts as a liaison to the business.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
7+ years of experience in data engineering with a proven track record of creating and implementing data pipelines
Proficiency in Python
Expertise with SQL scripting
Experience with Git for version control and deliverables management
