Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) professional to design, build, and optimize customer journeys across channels. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AJO, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and campaign orchestration, enabling personalized and data-driven customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and implement cross-channel customer journeys using Adobe Journey Optimizer
- Build and manage email and SMS within AJO
- Create and manage real-time and batch journeys leveraging events, segments, and profiles
- Work with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) for data ingestion, schemas, datasets, and identities
- Configure decisioning, offers, and personalization logic
- Collaborate with business, marketing, and analytics teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure best practices for journey governance, performance, and scalability
- Troubleshoot journey execution issues and optimize delivery and engagement
- Support UAT, deployment, and production releases
- Create technical documentation and provide KT to stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 38 years of experience in MarTech / Campaign Management tools
- Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO)
- Solid understanding of Adobe Experience Platform (AEP):
- Schemas, XDM
- Datasets & Dataflows
- Identity Service & Profile
- Experience with event-based and segment-based journeys
- Knowledge of real-time personalization and decisioning
- Hands-on with email and push channel configuration
- Understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and data integrations
- Good knowledge of customer lifecycle management and omnichannel marketing
Good to Have
- Experience with Adobe Campaign (Classic/Standard)
- Exposure to Adobe Analytics
- Knowledge of offer decisioning and content templates
- Adobe certifications (AJO / AEP)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
